2 Days until ICND2 Exam

Here is a preview of the ICND2 CRAM Sheet that I made to help myself study for the test. I’m going to post it shortly after I pass my exam. I just don’t want to take the time to format it right now.

It’s amazing how much studying you do the closer it comes to exam day. Which is the main reason why I’m trying to get my CCNA in such a short time period anyway.

If I say I will get my CCNA in 6 months, it will take me 6 months. If I said I will get my CCNA in 3 months, it will take me 3 months. If I say I will get my CCNA in 1 month, I will find a way to make it happen in just 1 month!

No matter how much time you allow yourself to prepare your pretty much going to cram the last week anyway. So, I just figured I’d suffer through 1 month of studying rather than extend it 6 months and you know what I’ve had a lot of fun doing it. The joy is in the journey and I don’t think I would have quite the same experience if I set a goal of 6 months.

Okay, so I know there is a chance that I could fail, but that chance will exist no matter how much time you allow. Lets say that I do fail (which I’m NOT planning on doing) I can take it again in 1 week and my chances of passing are 100 times greater now that I’ve taken it once. Some say that taking the test twice is a waste of money and I disagree. If I take the test after 3 weeks of studying, fail, then take it again the 4th week and pass. That is only 1 month. I than could either get a pay raise, or find a job because of my CCNA and in 5 months time I would make way more than $250 (the price of 2 exams). Or I could take 6 months to take my CCNA exam, while there is less risk in failing, you definitely loose that opportunity to get that raise or find that job. And 5 months worth of paychecks could be worth a whole lot more than you are making now!

Don’t wait. Raise the bar for yourself and you will be amazed at what you can accomplish!
